Explanation:
World Veterinary Day was observed on 27th April 2019 to promote the veterinary profession all over the world. The theme for this year was ‘Value of Vaccination’.This Day was established in 2000 by the World Veterinary Association(WVA) and it has been observed on the last Saturday in April since 2001.As a part of celebrations, every year WVA co-host the World Veterinary Day Award with the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) which honours one WVA Member’s activities related to the theme.
