Explanation:
International Men’s Day (IMD) is observed annually on November 19 every year to celebrate the achievements and contributions of boys of men towards community, family, marriage, and childcare. The day also highlights the basic humanitarian values. The 2019 theme was “Making a difference for men and boys”. The day was initiated in 1999 by Dr Jerome Teelucksingh, who was lecturer at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad & Tobago. In India men’s advocate Uma Challa, introduced this concept in 2007.
