Higher Education Commission (HEC) is conducting Law Admission Test (Law-LAT) for candidates desiring to get admission in a five-year undergraduate LLB Degree Program in HEC/PBC recognized public and private sector universities/institutions and their accredited affiliated colleges. HEC Law Admission Test will be conducted in major cities of the country. Students can select any center of their choice.
HEC Law Admission Test will be held on December 05, 2020. Please note the HEC Law Admission test is compulsory for admissions to LLB program in any Government or Private University and their affiliated colleges.
Eligibility Criteria
- The students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent/grade 12 education or the students who have appeared in the exams and now waiting for the result.

Process of Registration
- For the registration purpose: visit the following link http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- The application submission comprises two steps: profile completion using the “My Profile” section and application submission using the “Law Admission Test” link on the menu panel on the left-hand sidebar of the online portal.
- Only SUBMITTED applications will be considered for LAT, and applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE mode will not be entertained.
- The test fee is Rs.500 must be deposited online/ATM in the Account # 17427900133401, Account title “ Higher Education Commission, Bank, HBL, Branch Code: 1742.
- Applicants have to send a copy of the ATM/Online transfer/ Deposit slip to the given address by courier.
- Applicants must mention their CNIC number at the backside of the Deposit slip.
- Address: Room # 13-209, 2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, H-8, Islamabad.
- The fee for the test is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- After registration, the roll number slips will be issued to the students. Email and SMS will be sent to the candidates about the date, time, and venue of the examination center.
- The students are advised to bring the roll number slip and Original CNIC on the test day.
- Applicants have to select the center from the available options mentioned in the application form. After registration, the students will not be able to change their examination center.
