A fire temple in Zoroastrianism is the place of worship for Zoroastrians, often called dar-e mehr (Persian) or agiyari (Gujarati). In the Zoroastrian religion, fire (see Atar), together with clean water (see Aban), are agents of ritual purity.

ZOROASTRIANISM is also called as PARSI RELIGION. The Parsi community play their last rituals at DAKHMA also called as “TOWER OF SILENCE”. The people of Parsi Community worship FIRE and their temples is called AGARI. Their religious book is named as ZENDAVESTA. “DADABHAI NAOROJI” also belonged to parsi community. He was a Parsi Social Reformer.
