1. COVID-19 IN PAKISTAN

2. UK makes quarantine mandatory for travelers from Pakistan: Pakistan doesn’t qualify as “fully vaccinated,” according to the UK’s vaccination requirements. The UK doesn’t recognize the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) issued COVID-19 vaccine certificate from Pakistan. Travelers from Pakistan have to: 1) take a PCR test 72 hours before departure, 2) complete a passenger locator form, 4) self-isolate for 10 days after arriving, and 4) book a day two and day eight PCR test. Once the UK recognizes the NADRA issued proof of vaccination, and travelers from Pakistan are fully vaccinated with one of the four UK-approved vaccines, they won’t need to take a pre-departure PCR test or self-isolate upon arrival. However, travelers will still need to complete a passenger locator form and take a PCR test on day two.
