1. COVID-19 IN PAKISTAN

  • 24-hour recap: Pakistan reported 830 cases and 25 deaths in 24 hours. Pakistan also conducted 37,364 tests in the span of 24 hours (P.S. this data was last updated on July 6 at 7:17 am).
  • Pakistan records less than 1,000 COVID-19 cases after a five-day gap: The COVID-19 case count stands at 830 in the last 24 hours, the first time in five days it’s been below 1,000. In the 24 hours prior to this recording, 1,347 cases had been reported. The positivity rate also stands at 2.22 percent from the previous 2.97 percent a day earlier. According to the National Command and Operation Centre, more than 17.8 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Pakistan so far.
