2. Election Commission responds to Imran Khan’s allegations

What’s going on? On Thursday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) rejected former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s allegations about Chief Election Commissioner, Sikandar Sultan Raja, making decisions against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

Reminder: Khan was ousted through a no-confidence vote in the National Assembly on April 9.

The details: On Tuesday, PTI’s workers and supporters staged protests outside ECP offices across Pakistan, and accused Raja of having a “biased attitude.”
