What’s going on? Former member of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, retired Justice Wajihuddin Ahmed, claimed that PTI leader, Jahangir Khan Tareen, used to provide funds of up to Rs. 3 million a month for Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s household expenses. While making these claims on Bol News, Ahmed reportedly did not provide proof to back up his allegations.

Something to know: Ahmed served as Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court and as a senior justice of the Supreme Court. When he was head of PTI’s election tribunal, he led an investigation into irregularities in PTI’s intra-party elections. Dawn stated that Ahmed “developed differences” with the party’s leadership while trying to implement the election tribunal’s recommendations.
