A 57-year-old American citizen Tahir Naseem, accused of blasphemy, was shot at multiple times at close range inside Peshawar’s Judicial Complex on July 29, 2020 as he waited to be shifted to the prison. He died on the spot. The attacker was arrested then and there and the pistol used for firing was seized.
