On June 19, 2019 Country’s first iron ore mine was discovered at Isabpur village in Dinajpur of Bangladesh. The discovery was done by the Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB).At a depth of 1,330 feet, a 400-foot thick iron layer was discovered and it is extended over an area of 6-10 square kilometers. Percentage of iron: It is 60 in the mine, which is higher in quality in comparison to other iron ore mines in the world.Other countries: Canada, China, Brazil Sweden and Australia which comprises less than 50 percent of iron.
