US Asks foreign Students including Pakistan to Leave Country if classes go online.

Students in US may be deported if their universities switch to online-only classes due to COVID. In view of the increasing cases of corona virus (Covid-19), United States has made an important decision and ordered all the foreign students to leave the country.The aspirants from the other states, including Pakistan, who are taking online classes at Universities of United States and residing in US, have been asked to leave the country.

“The US Department of State will not issue visas to students enrolled in schools and/or programs that are fully online for the fall semester nor will US Customs and Border Protection permit these students to enter the United States,” the release said referring to the September to December semester.

The Overseas students with online classes will not be able to stay in US. The stay of foreign students in United States taking online will be considered illegal. The Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) further instructed that foreign students must either leave US or take an offline course for their new semester. In addition, those aspirants who will not follow the rules may face deportation.On the other hand, some Universities of United States have expressed concern over the sudden decision of Government. US Government Bans the Entry of Foreign Students For Fall Semester. All the foreign students are now worried regarding this big decision of US government.

It further said that students attending schools adopting a “hybrid model”, which includes a mixture of online and in-person classes, will be allowed to take more than one class or three credit hours online.
