On July 13, 2019, The foundation stone of Baba Guru Nanak International University (BGNIU) has been laid in Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Baba Guru Nanak Dev, founder of Sikhism, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The University’s foundation stone was laid by Pakistan’s Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bujdar.Overview: The university will be built in 10 acres of land and it will cost more than Rs. 258 crores to complete.
