Shafqat Mahmood Tweet the Decision Regarding Winter Holidays

Finally The Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood has made an announcement regarding the winter holidays. As some days ago, the meeting of the National Command and Operation Center was held in which it had been decided about winter vacations for the educational institutes to shift from December to January 2022 by the Federal and provincial secretaries. The decision has been finalized by the concerned authorities regarding the announcement of the vacations according to Shafqat Mahmood’s latest tweet. The candidates are informed to check the announcement made after the NCOC meeting. Moreover, as per the announcement on Shafqat Mahmood Twitter, all the provincial governments were agreed about the schedule of the winter holidays 2021. It has been proposed that winter vacations should be announced from 25th December 2021 to 4th January 2021. The education minister further added that the notification will be issued by the concerned governments.

Winter Vacations 2021

It is pertinent to mention here that the decision about the winter vacations was taken according to the recommendations provided during the inter-provincial education minister’s conference. Moreover, it has been said that in all the educational institutes the vaccination process will carry on to save the students from the COVID-19 however the educational institutes will remain closed in the areas with extreme weather conditions.

The decision of the Sindh Government

Earlier the Sindh government had announced the winter vacations across the educational institutes of the province from 20th December 2021 to 3rd January 2022. In this regard, a notification was issued by the School Education and Literacy Department. According to the announcement made by the government, the educational institutes will be reopened from 3rd January 2022. The Government of Balochistan had also announced the winter vacations for the public and private schools of the province. The winter vacations have been provided according to the winter zone and summer zone. The long winter vacations had been announced from15th December 2021 to 28th February 2022 and short winter vacations had been announced from 22nd December 2021 to 31st December 2021.
