Federal minister for education and professional training, has made an announcement regarding the Cambridge exams. The students who intend to appear in the O and A level exams are informed that Cambridge assessment international education will hold the exams according to the announced schedule. The O Level and IGCSE exams will begin from May 10 instead of 15, announced Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Monday. The minister took to Twitter to share that he had “received a letter from Christine Ozden, CEO Cambridge”, requesting the government to change the date of the O level and IGCSE exams. He also shared a screenshot of the letter. Moreover, the candidates that do not want to appear in the June 2021 series can also switch to October/November exams for the same fee.
Cambridge International’s Country Director Pakistan Uzma Yousuf had said that the Cambridge and federal government of Pakistan have been working closely for the smooth conduction of the exams as the health of the students is our top priority. Previously the Cambridge had also introduced measures to support the students that will appear in the exams in May/June series 2021.
