Punjab Government has announced to close all Public and Private schools in the province for one week. Schools shall be closed from September 6 to September 11, 2021, due to COVID-19 conditions. 4th Wave of coronavirus is on the rise and new restrictions are imposed.
Minister for School Education, Dr. Murad Raas announced the decision today. He also tweeted the same through his official Twitter handler. Minister also requested to stay home and stay safe. Protect yourself and your families. Schools will reopen on Monday, September 13, 2021.
As the new variants of COVID-19 are more deadly, NCOC has issued guidelines for provinces to restrict the spread of the virus. KP Government has also imposed restrictions in 9 districts. Only 50% of students are allowed to attend school on alternative days.
