Recruitment process of Educators freezes by Punjab Government for next two years.
The Punjab government has plans to freeze recruitment against all seats vacant for the last two years except in health and police departments besides rationalising the new recruitment in the upcoming budget for financial year 2020-21.
Punjab suspended the recruitment process for 70,000 vacancies of teachers for the next two years due to corona virus epidemic bad effects. Punjab Government Suspends Recruitment of Seventy Thousand Educators. The hiring’s will take place only on previously approved seats of the Police and Health Department.
No new hiring will be made in School Education Department. As per the department, only the vacant positions in Mianwali and Dera Ghazi khan which were approved in the last fiscal year will be filled.As per the official statement given by the official of School Education Department, no new hiring’s will be done in the new financial year because of lack of budget. Government of Punjab announces Thousands of Vacancies in Police Department Earlier, the Government of Punjab had decided to fill the thousands of vacancies in the police and also gave the approval of new recruitment. Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar, had instructed that process should be formulated for recruitment and the hiring in the police department will be done completely on merit basis.
