PPSC Fee Collection Target for PPSC Exams 2020-2021.

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has increased the PPSC fee collection target for the exams. The PPSC has increased the target of their expenses on the students with the enhancement of their fee. As per the details, an additional target burden of Rs. 6 crore in terms of examination fees in the new fiscal year will be on PPSC while directly on the candidates.In the financial year 2019-2020, the target of the fee collection of the PPSC Exams was set as Rs.255.3 million and the PPSC achieved this target. For the next financial year of 2020-2021, the target of the exams fee is increased to Rs.315.2 million.

The additional fee collection will be made by the PPSC and this fee will be collection directly from the candidates, who will appear for the competitive exams. The government of the Punjab has allowed PPSC to conduct the interviews of the candidates and PPSC will hold the interviews of the candidates in the phases after the implementation of the SOP’s, which are formulated by the Punjab Health Department but the process of exams will remain suspended. As per the issued notification, the approval for interviews was given just to PPSC whereas other departments have not been allowed yet. It is also important to mention here that the Punjab government had earlier stopped PPSC to hold interviews of the applicants who had passed the written exams because of the lock down in the country.
