“I have now tested positive for Covid-19. By the grace of Allah, I feel strong and energetic. I will continue to carry on my duties from home. Please keep me in your prayers,” Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a tweet.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been examined positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and has isolated himself at his home. In his report, Foreign Minister confirmed that his Corona-virus test was positive. In a tweet, the FM said that he isolated himself after suffering from light fever.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday he had tested positive for COVID-19, days after holding high-profile meetings including one with U.S. special representative on Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad in Islamabad.

“This afternoon I felt a slight fever and immediately quarantined myself at home,” Qureshi said on Twitter. He said he felt healthy and would carry on his duties from home.
