Bolivia’s Supreme Electoral Tribunal formally announced that Luis Alberto “Lucho” Arce Catacora won the Presidential elections in Bolivia. Luis Arce will succeed Bolivia’s Interim President Jeanine Anez Chavez of the Democrat Social Movement Party. Luis’s Party Movement for Socialism (MAS) captured 55.1 % of votes and won the elections. Carlos Mesa, the Main Opposition Candidate who belongs to the Revolutionary Left Front Party (FRI) and contested the elections under the Citizen Community Party Alliance received 28.8 % of votes. He will take charge as President of Bolivia from 8th November, 2020.
