Karachi University Decides To Start 02 Years Associate Degree Program

Karachi University decides to end 02 years of BA, BCOM, and BSC programs from all the affiliated institutes. However, it has also been decided to replace the 02 years BA, BCOM, and BSC programs with 02 years associate degree. According to the report, the conference of the Academic Council has been done recently. The conference was done under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University, Dr. Khalid Iraqi. Other members of the Academic Council also participated in this conference. 02 years bachelor’s degree program was the point of discussion during the conference. The meeting was concluded with the decision that 02 years bachelor’s degree program will be replaced with 02 years associate degree program.

Karachi University Associate Degree Program

Students after completing the intermediate level of education can start 02 years associate degree program at the University of Karachi with an associate degree program in arts, associate degree program in science, and associate degree program in commerce. The associate degree program will start under the annual academic year system and the semester system is not an option for the associate degree program. Both regular, as well as private students, can start the associate degree program.

The program will not be equal to the graduate program. However, students who are desirous for the title of graduation can take admission in the 3^rd year of the university after completing the associate degree in the relevant subject. After passing 02 further years, the students can get the title of graduation in the relevant field.
