In a statement issued on Twitter, IBCC said that the examination will be held according to the existing pattern of the question paper. “Results will be announced before the end of August,” it added.

It is expected that the annual examinations of SSC will be commenced from 24th May 2021. Earlier it was proposed to change the paper pattern of the board exams and to introduce the new pattern consisting only of multiple-choice questions to evaluate the knowledge of the students. The IBCC rejected the proposal and announced that the board exams will be conducted according to the existing paper pattern. Moreover, it is also pertinent to mention here that the exams will be conducted as per the announced smart syllabus.

The boards will announce the result in the month of August so that the new academic session can be started. According to the current paper pattern, the board authorities usually take three months to declare the result.
