How many planets in the Solar System in 2018 ?

Planets of the Solar System in Order in 2018

1. Mercury
2. Venus
3. Earth
4. Mars
5. Jupiter
6. Saturn
7. Uranus
8. Neptune

Number of Total planets in our Solar System are confusing because the some books of science still showing 9 planets in Solar System.  But right now in 2018 we only have 8 planets and if we right in order of planets they are Mercury, Venus , Earth, Mars , Jupiter , Saturn , Uranus, Neptune. Till 2006 Pluto was considered part of the solar system but when the definition of planet was improved Pluto was removed from the list of Planets. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh.
