The higher education commission has commenced the registration schedule for the law admission test (LAT). The applications are invited from the candidates that want to take admission in the LLB undergraduate degree program. The test is mandatory to get enrolled in LLB offered by the HEC/PBC-recognized public and private sector universities and valid colleges affiliated with the public sector universities.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates who have passed the secondary school certificate or equivalent/grade 12 education are eligible to apply.
- Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent/ grade 12 education and awaiting results can appear in the test.

Registration Process
- The candidates are required to submit the online application through the online portal of the higher education commission.
- Only online submitted applications will be considered by the commission.
- The test fee is Rs.1000/- that should be submitted to Habib bank limited. It is informed to the candidates that pay order will not be accepted.
- The test fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Applicants are required to send a copy of the deposited slip through the courier before the last day of registration. The candidates have to mention the CNIC number at the back of the deposited slip.
- The test will be conducted in the major cities and the candidates can choose the examination center from the list provided by the commission. After the selection, the candidates will not be able to change the examination center.
- The test will be conducted on 8th August 2021 and any change will be communicated by the commission.
- Email/SMS will be sent to the candidates about the date, day, and venue of the test so the candidates are required to mention the valid email and phone number while submitting the application form.
- The original CNIC and roll number slip will be required by the candidates to enter the examination hall at the test date.
Deadline For Online Registration
The deadline for the online registration of LAT is 25th July 2021 so the candidates are informed to submit the application form before the last date.
