HEC Issues Notification Regarding The Closure Of Educational Institutes

The higher education commission of Pakistan has announced to close the educational institutes due to the rapid increase in the number of coronavirus cases. In this regard, a notification has been issued by the concerned authorities to inform the students. According to the notification, all the colleges and universities will remain closed from 4th September 2021 to 11th September 2021. The decision is applicable to all educational institutes. Moreover, the higher education commission has also instructed the students to submit the vaccination certificates of their siblings. It is mandatory for all students to get vaccinated as per the instructions provided by the government.

Conduction of Annual Exams

Earlier the educational boards had announced the schedule for the commencement of the annual exams of the 9th class. Now the exams are being conducted as per the mentioned schedule. The authorities have informed the students that the annual exams of the 9th class will not be delayed and any announcement of the holiday will affect the examination schedule and the candidates will appear in the exams according to the provided date sheet. It is pertinent to mention here that the annual exams of 10th class, 11th class, and 12th class had been conducted and now the students have been waiting for the announcement of the result. 

Closure of Punjab Schools

Earlier the Punjab education minister, Murad Raas had announced the all the public and private schools will remain closed till 11th September 2021. The decision had been taken by the authorities after considering the situation of the coronavirus pandemic. The education minister has also instructed the students to stay at home and follow all the precautionary measures in order to be protected from coronavirus pandemics. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
