ECAT Test by UET Conduct Soon.
ECAT is a test which is conducted by UET Lahore in Punjab, every year for the admissions in BE / BS/ BSc Engineering degrees in Engineering Universities. This test is conducted by the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Every year more than 45,000 candidates attempt this test. There are approximately 3000 seats in the government sector engineering colleges and universities of Punjab.
Test Date:
Due to the Covid-19 cases and lockdown in the country, the test have been postponed on the orders of Punjab government. So far, the university has not announced any date to conduct the test. It is expected that the test will be organized when the situation in the country will gets better or might be the university will take a virtual test. Test Pattern:
ECAT test consist on multiple choice questions (MCQS) from different subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. All these MCQs based on intermediate syllabus. The test contains 100 MCQ’s each question contain 4 marks. The subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics portion contains 30 MCQ’s each while English portion contains 10 MCQ’s. Negative marking also the part of the test.
