The University of Engineering and technology has postponed the entry test 2021. The decision has been taken due tothe wake of rising COVID-19 cases, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has postponed Engineering College Admission Test (ECAT 2021) until further orders, which was scheduled to be held from 24 to 27 May, 2021 across Punjab. Similarly, the mock test which was scheduled to be held on 21 and 22 May, 2021 has also been postponed. However, the process of registration will be continued. But for the current academic year, the test could not be conducted as per the announced schedule and to commence the entry test the revised schedule will be announced soon for the candidates.
UET Entry Test 2021
It has been informed to the students to get admission in the public sector engineering and engineering technology institutes it is mandatory to ace the test with maximum marks. Registration for the Entry Test will remain open until announcement of new dates and prescribed HBL branches will continue to sell Entry Test Tokens until further notification. Further, facility to get token number through on-line/ Konnect challan facility will remain functional. Candidates are advised to get themselves registered as early as possible to avoid inconvenience due to filling of VU centers. The facility to get the ECAT token online will remain functional to facilitate the students.
Registration
The candidates are informed to submit the registration form to appear in the entry test as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience due to filling in the centers of Virtual University. The candidates who have already registered are instructed to re-print the admit cards of the entry test after the announcement of new dates as the admit cards will be updated automatically.
