Education Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday announced that all educational institutes will reopen from September 15th, 2020.
Federal Education Minister said that the government will review its decision before the opening of schools in last of August in an inter-provincial meeting in the light of Covid-19 pandemic situation. He also added that the decision regarding permitting the school management to call its administration staff before September 15th and training will be conducted to make sure that SOP’s are implemented.
Shafqat Mehmood also said that provinces will be responsible for ensuring the SOP’s that are followed, measures announced by the government. He warned that any institute found guilty for violating the SOP’s will be closed by authorities.
Federal Education minister said that universities had suggested the government that PhD students should be permitted to enter the university in a limited number in order to continue their research work.
