- More Pfizer vaccines coming to Pakistan: According to a tweet by the US Embassy in Islamabad, the US is delivering the third round of 3.7 million Pfizer doses, in addition to the 5.5 million Moderna doses it delivered to Pakistan. Reuters also reported that the US is shipping just over 3 million Pfizer doses to Pakistan as a part of its vaccine diplomacy effort. The doses will be delivered through a joint COVAX/World Health Organization program that is sending free COVID-19 vaccines to developing countries.
