Pakistanis among dead after bus carrying migrants crashes in Turkey: A bus carrying migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh crashed in Turkey’s Muradiye district on Sunday, killing at least 12 and injuring 26 others. The identities of the deceased “were not immediately clear,” Dawn reported. The bus caught on fire after tumbling into a ditch, with survivors being treated on the spot and the driver detained. The crash occurred close to Turkey’s border with Iran; Turkey is a transit point for migrants — mostly from Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan — looking to cross into Europe.
