- Clarification of the Sindh government’s indoor dining restrictions: An article in Dawn news reported that Sindh opened indoor dining for vaccinated people in Karachi and Hyderabad. According to Business Recorder, the Sindh government issued a notification on August 29 stating that, “A complete ban shall continue on indoor dining for Karachi and Hyderabad…indoor and outdoor dining will be allowed till 11:59 pm at 50% capacity for vaccinated individuals.” On August 30, the Sindh Home Department issued a clarification after its first announcement led to “confusion.” The updated notice said there is a complete ban on indoor dining in Karachi and Hyderabad, while indoor dining is open in all other Sindh districts for people who are vaccinated.
