On June 12, 019, The Government of Japan has decided to invest an amount of 205.784 billion Yen, nearly Rs 13,000 crore in several ongoing as well as new infrastructure projects in the North-East Region. This was announced after a meeting of Development of North-East Region (DoNER) Minister Dr Jitendra Singh with the Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Mr Kenji Hiramatsu. The contributions of Japan in the development and transformation of the North-East in the last 3-4 years were appreciated by the Minister of DoNER.
