The world fisheries day is celebrated every year on the 21st of November. The day is celebrated to intimate people about the importance of water and the lives it supports, the consequence of overfishing, ocean and coastal pollution and the ill treatment of fishermen.This year the FAO (Food and Agricultural Organization), the Holy See (the jurisdiction of the bishop of Rome) and ILO (International Labour Organization) and its partners celebrate the 3rd world fisheries day.
