  • Govt needs to import 0.1m tonnes of urea to avoid shortage. The ministry decides to seek help from provincial governments for fertiliser control.
  • PIA not to carry Markhor emblem, says spokesperson. A PIA spokesperson says the national flag carrier will honour the Supreme Court’s order.
  • IDEAS 2018 to feature culture show, sports festival. The biennial event, with ‘arms for peace’ as its motto, will be held from Nov 27 to Nov 30.
  • TLP chief visits families of workers killed during sit-in. “Rizvi also visited a hospital on Stadium Road where workers injured in the incident were being treated.”
  • Study identifies relationship between smog and rice residue burning in Punjab. “The study will be instrumental in helping reduce the contribution of the agriculture sector in the formation of smog.”
