Federal Government of Pakistan has appointed Amir Zulfiqar on 2nd November 2018 , he is 21 grade Police Officer of Police Service of Pakistan PSP Group. Jan Muhammad was previously serving as IG till 1st November 2018, although he was transferred by Federal Government but his transfer was suspended by Supreme Court of Pakistan.
