Chairman of the FIFA-appointed Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee (NC),\u00a0Haroon Malik, alleged that former PFF President,\u00a0Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, was behind the attack. Malik said a mob barged into his office, restrained him, locked the doors, and told him to hand over the organization&#8217;s accounts. A PFF spokesperson\u00a0also said staff members were harassed and held hostage. This incident led to the cancellation of a national women&#8217;s football championship that started earlier this month.
