Rebuilding a destroyed Hindu temple<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Pakistan&#8217;s Supreme Court ordered authorities to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/news\/article\/Pakistani-court-orders-rebuilding-of-destroyed-15847179.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/newsletter.thenewsrun.com\/t\/j-l-adtjkyk-iluykthdp-k\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1610034675735000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGOfgQ7lLK-JDl2mcFx6S5fmwNtoQ\">rebuild<\/a>\u00a0a century-old Hindu temple\u00a0that was damaged and set on fire by a mob last week. The court ruling came after authorities reportedly arrested 100+ people for attacking the temple. Several police officers were also fired for not acting quick enough to protect the temple. The temple is\u00a0located in Karak, a town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Supporters of the\u00a0Islamic political party,\u00a0Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam,\u00a0and Karak residents attacked the building after a local cleric provoked them.
