The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has announced the admissions process for private medical and dental colleges. In its announcement, the commission detailed the eligibility criteria, merit generation, exemptions, and required documents for students seeking admissions in private medical and dental colleges across the country. So, all the applicants must meet the given criteria to secure their applications in their selected private medical and dental colleges:<\/p>\n
Applicants need to meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Obtain a minimum of 65% or above marks in the intermediate, FSS, or A-levels with an IBCC equivalency certificate.<\/p>\n
\u2022 60% or above marks in MDCAT.<\/p>\n
Candidates are required to meet the following merit generation criteria:<\/p>\n
\u2022 30% marks will be counted of the intermediate, FSS, or A-levels.<\/p>\n
\u2022 50% marks will be included from MDCAT.<\/p>\n
\u2022 20% of marks of the interview that will be taken by the private medical and dental colleges.<\/p>\n
Applicants are required to submit their applications along with the following supporting documents:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Photograph<\/p>\n
\u2022 CNIC\/Passport<\/p>\n
\u2022 Educational certificate HSSC\/FSC\/A-Level<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sat-II certificate (if applying on this basis)<\/p>\n
