A state of emergency was declared for Peshawar&#8217;s hospitals, so they could prepare for a stream of wounded patients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The details:<\/strong>\u00a0The madrasa is located in an area where a lot of Afghans live. Most of the\u00a0madrasa&#8217;s students\u00a0are in their early to mid-20s. Some students told authorities that an unidentified man\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2020\/10\/27\/several-dead-in-blast-at-religious-school-in-pakistans-peshawar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/newsletter.thenewsrun.com\/t\/j-l-ayuuhil-iluykthdp-h\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1603988636168000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGlygaT44sExEMBxw_kePvoZUZd6g\">brought a bag inside<\/a>\u00a0earlier on and left. Police officials suspect\u00a0the bag contained an improvised-explosive device (I.E.D). Schools in Peshawar have been attacked in the past as well. According to VP of the\u00a0Sindh Abadgar Board (SAB),\u00a0Syed Mahmood Nawaz Shah, Pakistan&#8217;s wheat output dropped 15-20% in FY 2020, probably due to climate change. However, Shah thinks other factors could have impacted wheat output as well. He said the govt didn&#8217;t think it was any cause for alarm, since wheat production seemed to be meeting local demand.\u00a0Now, the govt is apparently relying on imports to control high food prices in the country. His family reported that he was missing, and looked for him with police all night. The police found his body on a hill\u00a0at 9am on Tuesday. A police surgeon confirmed that the child was raped by more than one person.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Backstory:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>More than 40 cases of child abuse have been reported in Balochistan this year. As for Pakistan as a whole, a child protection organization named Sahil reported that\u00a01,489\u00a0children were sexually abused during the first half of this year (i.e. 785 girls and 704 boys). In most of these cases, the abusers were acquaintances of the victims or the victims&#8217; families, while strangers were the abusers in other cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"m_8509029952855053693size-18\" lang=\"x-size-18\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\"><strong>5.
