He also covers legal affairs. On July 21, around a dozen unidentified men, reportedly in plainclothes and uniform, abducted Jan from outside a school in Islamabad and released him after 12 hours. A CCTV camera caught\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HamidMirPAK\/status\/1285525421635903488\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/newsletter.thenewsrun.com\/t\/j-l-qkkvlk-iluykthdp-d\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1596914225027000&amp;usg=AFQjCNExnEltLMem4MCGFEoCVrY3rJYN2w\">footage<\/a>\u00a0of the kidnapping, which\u00a0sparked outrage on social media after going viral. The capital police said they were waiting to hear back from different departments.
