  • Govt in talks with protesters, minister tells NA. “There will be no compromise on rule and supremacy of law,” Minister of State for Interior Sheheryar Afridi tells MNAs.
  • Govt increases petrol price by Rs5 per litre. The new price of petrol will now be Rs97.83 while that of High Speed Diesel will be Rs112.94 per litre.
  • Pakistan beat New Zealand by two runs in Twenty20 thriller. New Zealand needed a six off the last ball to tie the match but managed a boundary to finish at 146-6 in 20 overs.
