2. What did the Supreme Court say about women’s inheritance?

What’s going on? Pakistan’s Supreme Court ruled that a woman’s heirs cannot claim her inheritance after she has passed away. The children of two deceased women filed an appeal to claim the inheritance their mothers never received from their maternal grandfather. However, the children lost the case.

The details: In 1935, the maternal grandfather of the children, Isa Khan, transferred his property to his son, Abdul Rehman, without giving any share of that property to his two daughters. Neither of Khan’s daughters filed a complaint against his decision or tried to claim their inheritance.
